Knit along in the group, Japanese Garden Shawl, designed by Wendy Johnson.

On the kneedles
Watermelon socks as a treat for myself. Abi Grasso dyed the yarn and wrote the pattern I’m using for it.
http://www.etsy.com/shop/knitpurlgurl# is the URL for her shop. Her self-patterning yarn is full of awesome!
I just cast on the Japanese Garden Shawl by Wendy Johnson, using size 5 (3.75 mm) and size 8 (5mm) needles. I guessed at how much yarn I’d need to use for a long tail cast on. Using Wollmeise Raku-Regenbogen.
Little Starbursts Dishcloth by Sarah Cook in Blue Ombre Peaches and Cream, Size H (5mm hook)
Mom’s Ripple Afghan from “Cool Stuff, Teach me to Knit” book. Using bulky jiffy from Lion Brand and Bernat Soft Boucle and size 10/6mm circs.

Been there, done that-finished objects
The Haruni Shawl is done and I love it!
Size 5/3.75mm circs, and Wollmeise 80/20 in Dornröschen
